Food glorious food!

Tim and I are off for 10 months of sun, sea and sand...wiches!
We're aiming on eating our way round the world!

For those of you that don't know, I love sandwiches, especially the fillings - Coronation Chicken, Chicken Avocado and Pesto, Prawn Mayonnaise, Crayfish and Rocket, Turkey, Stuffing and Cranberry sauce, Egg Mayo, Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese, Hummous and Mediterranean Vegetables....yum! And then there’s the bread, so many options - wraps, baps, French stick, sliced white or granary, ciabatta, focaccia but It doesn’t stop there you can spice up your bread with nuts, seeds, cranberry, olive oli, garlic, rosemary...how can anyone ever get bored of sandwiches?


I can't quite put a finger on when this obsession started but it was definitely heightened at University when I wrote a dissertation on...sandwiches (well it was a marketing plan for Pret, I actually sent it to them and asked for a job - didn’t get it). So it's no surprise to many that in some way sandwiches would make their way onto this blog, or as it may turn out, we dedicate the whole blog to food glorious food!

Tim and I will search out sandwiches from around the world– we’re traveling to 16 countries so they’ll be some extensive results – and deliver them to you via this blog. Who knows what a Bolivian sandwich looks, tastes, smells like?!
